| I think I need to stop visiting message boards, they're starting to give me a head ache. Not the boards themselves, just the opinions some users love to share with fellow users. I recently viewed a topic about a game I enjoyed this past month and how some were worried (albeit with good cause) it wasn't going to get a good review. So the topic went on about how they were worried, and other veritable geek spat and then came someones thoughts on some of the more popular game shows: X-Play on G4, The Electric Playground, and Reviews on the Run (for Canadian audiences)/Judgment Day (for American audiences.) their opinions on each of the shows were valid enough, few shows have no flaws at all, but their reason for not liking The Electric Playground seem, well, moronic. Basically, they didn't enjoy the show because they interviewed Developers/Programmers/Public Relations people about upcoming games that video game consumers can look forward to within the following year, and that they (the people interviewed on the show) never bad mouth the games. Never state the flaws of the show. They don't like the show because of what it is meant to do: inform us (the consumers) about upcoming products. Ok, fine, you entitled to your own opinion, but tell me this: Why would a developer/programmer bad mouth their own product before it's release? Are you saying the show "adds to the hype?", ok again, fair enough, but that is what the show sets out to do! It sets out to tel us about what to look forward to! How is that a bad thing? The product only gets hyped up when people hype it up, and just because a show says, "man, I can't wait for that one," doesn't completely mean they are hyping it up. They are giving their own opinion. What is wrong with that?
*Phew* ok, I'm done now. :D

| So here I am, after some convincing by some friends my day-to-day thoughts, gripes, hopes, dreams, and other mental knick-knacks are now being put onto digital paper on Live Journal. Granted updates may come few and far between, but regardless there will be updates when I have something to share to the masses. I must say though, this just may become a new outlet for me to vent my frustrations, but hey, if you enjoy reading my meager rantings then by all means, enjoy!
So what is the latest goings on in my life, well, it has been almost a week since I agreed to a challenge posed by a friend which we have dubbed: Sex Lent! Yes much like the highly valued religious practice the two of us will be abstaining from many things sexual. For how long? 40 days and 40 Nights. Yes, Yes, just like the movie of the same name. You can see where we got the idea no? What brought this about you ask? Well my friend was feeling a bit down about themselves when it comes to things of this nature, sex. So after seeing the movie 40 Days and 40 Nights, they wondered if they could do it them self. Well knowing them, they'd need some extra motivation to stay the course. Now I'll be honest, I am not the most active when it come to this kind of thing, but it did pose quite the interesting challenge, and I to was curious to see if I could hold out as well, so here we are, five days down, only 35 to go. What have I gotten myself into?!
So here are the rules: NO: - Kissing (except on the cheek) - Self Pleasure - Sex - Sexual innuendos that could lead to the previous
